Our Trail Riding Retreat offers a variety of options for different rider levels and for those who want to bring their own horses. We offer a peaceful, scenic experience designed for you and your friends to enjoy with your horses or ours! Here are the key details:

For BYOH (Bring Your Own Horse) Rides:

Small Private Groups - Go for a ride with 5-6 people for a calming, relaxing ride.
BYOH (Bring Your Own Horse) - For now, our day trail rides are BYOH, so you can enjoy the adventure with your own trusted equine partner!
One-hour Guided Ride - Take in our lovely trails and views on a guided one-hour ride.
Meal by the Lake - Stop at our cabin by the water for a tasty meal prepared by The Blue Door Bakery and relax with a beverage.
Comfort for your Horse - While you enjoy our cabin and lunch, your horse will get to rest comfortably in one of our on-site stalls.

Departure Time Options - Keep an eye out on our social media availability for options to book in for a ride with us or send us a message to inquire.

Easy Access & Parking - Plenty of room for trailers in our parking area for easy travel.

For Golden Hour Trail Rides (Horses Provided):

Small groups - Go for a ride with 2-3 people for a calm, intimate experience.

Horses provided - Our Golden Hour rides offer you to take the ride on one of our well trained horses.

One-hour Guided Ride - Take in our lovely trails and views on a guided 1-hour ride.
Meal by the Lake - Stop at our cabin by the water for a tasty meal prepared by The Blue Door Bakery and relax with a beverage.

Start time - Our Golden Hour rides are available on Thursday through Sunday evenings starting at 5:30 PM – plenty of time to head our way after work.

Cost

Our BYOH one-hour Trail Ride price per person is $150 (including HST)

Our Golden Hour 1-hour Trail Ride price per person is $169.50 (including HST)

Availability

Retreat is open weekly, Thursday and Friday evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday for morning or afternoon bookings.

Your BYOH (Bring Your Own Horse) Trail Ride Adventure

Arrival & Preparation:

Please arrive at least half an hour before your booked trail riding time.
Upon arrival, you'll have time to settle in, tack up your horse, and prepare for the trail ride. We kindly ask that all riders be ready to depart 15 minutes before departure time.

Post-Meal Wooded Ride

After an hour meal, we'll saddle up for a leisurely ride through a shaded wooded trail back to the parking area.
The afternoon ride offers a different perspective of the landscape and a chance to appreciate the tranquility of the forest.

Scenic Trail Ride

The guided trail ride will depart promptly depending on your booked time.
We'll embark on a scenic journey through landscapes
The trail ride is designed for riders of all levels, and our experienced guides will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Along the way, we'll make stops to take in the views and capture memorable photos.

Departure or Optional Massage

Upon arrival at the parking area, you're welcome to pack up and depart at your convenience.
For those who wish to pamper their equine companions, Emily will be offering optional horse massages at an additional cost.
The massages are a wonderful way to reward your horse for their hard work and promote relaxation and well-being.

Lakeside Meal Break

Approximately 1 hours after departure, we'll arrive at a charming cabin nestled by the lake.
You'll have time to relax, enjoy a delicious picnic meal, and take in the serene beauty of the surroundings.
Fresh water and hay will be provided for your horses in comfortable stalls.

Additional Information

Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for riding.
Helmets are strongly recommended for all riders.
Sunscreen, insect repellent, and a water bottle are recommended.
If anything is needed at the cabin, it can be brought to you there with the wonderful assistance from our staff.
In the event of inclement weather, the trail ride may be rescheduled or cancelled.
